Street Fighter IV for PC Due For 2nd July

Its official. Electronic Arts Singapore just announced that Street Fighter 4 for the PC will hit shelves on the 2nd of July. Powerful gaming rigs are recommended for smooth gameplay though unless you like the feeling of your fighter not responding in time to an opponent's attack and just like to get your ass kicked upside down.

For multiplayer, it will go through Games For Windows LIVE. Therefore, it will be supporting Achievements for your Gamertag if any of you care about it.

Benchmarking

Got the Street Fighter IV benchmarking tool off some site. I think it was FileShack. The installer itself is about 400MB in size. Luckily the downloading speed was fast. I think I was clocking in at a speedy 700Kb/sec. Got it real fast.

Ran the test on my PC and this was what I got...

Unfortunately, my laptop did not fare so well. In fact, it was struggling to render all the action at a horrible 30 frames per second! Guess that even though it has a GeForce 6800GT onboard, it still sucks.

My handphone contract with SingTel finally reached the 21 month mark. That means I am eligible to get a new handphone and recontract without any penalty fees. Was aiming for the Sony Ericssoon W902 Walkman phone. Slim and elegant looking.

Then my friend and I went down to the SingTel shop at Bugis to check out the handphone and price. After queuing up at the information counter for almost 5 minutes, the sales person told me that they were no longer selling the W902 model. Further enquiry at the Sony Ericsson shop over at ILUMA Bugis revealed that the model has already been out of production.

Crap. This sucks.

First off, we have news from Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur to be exact. 3 men were chained to a wall in a filthy room and beaten by loan sharks for 3 months. Then a teen US-Indonesian model manages to escape from her Malaysian prince husband because he apparently abused her sexually. Then in Indonesia, komodo dragons are increasing their attacks on the villagers.

Seriously man. What the hell is going on here?!
