Why can't the 6 Star Wars films have been like this?! Damn you Lucas! Saturday Woot! Looks like it may rain on this Saturday morning! It better rain! These couple of days have been bloody scorching hot! Sick Was walking around Suntec City last night when my throat started to feel a little painful with every swallow of saliva or water. Then very quickly, body started to feel weak and joints started to ache too. First signs that I was getting sick. It got worse and by 12 midnight, I was sort of finding it hard to sleep when the body shivers but yet felt hot and was sweating. Somehow, I managed to sleep through it and it got slightly better this morning. Well, not that much better. Still felt weak, throat a little sore and joints still aching. Dad suspected it was the flu as he read somewhere that Singapore was experiencing a period of increased flu outbreaks. Must be the weather I think. However, the doctor at the clinic I went to said it was throat infection and that it was quite contagious. People around me can get it very easily if their resistance is low. Funny thing is that my parents and sister all got it recently. Now its my turn. What a way to spread it around! So, I got a day's MC and tons of antibiotics and drugs to get well quickly. Crap. This year hasn't been very good for me. The last time I saw a doctor was for sore eyes that I contracted back in Bangkok. Now this. Sigh. Oh yeah. On a side note, I have decided NOT to get Starcraft 2. The hefty price tag of SGD109 is not worth it. Blizzard has indeed become greedy. |
